A tall ladder and a long handled soft bristle brush.

As for the soap just make sure it does not contain any petroleum.

Is the 2016 FR3 30DS roof strong enough to stand on? Does anyone know the weight limit? Didn't know if it was strong enough for observations or walking on for washing and roof installs.

Check your sky light for small cracks from screw holes.

I'm 210 and son is 170 we were up there at same time. I would be more worried of the rear ladder.

It's been said that if the unit came with a ladder, the roof is safe to walk on. Weight?

I was told that the ladder was either 250 or 300 lb limit. And I seem to think there was some literature in our packet about the ladder that referenced something. I'm about 250lb and all is good.

If roofs weren't safe to walk on, they would never build the RV. Ever watch the assembly where 2-3 guys are running around up there installing vents, AC's and such?

Thanx to all who responded. I feel better about installing the Maxfan now. I will use a different ladder or at least be gingerly on the RV one. Thanx again.
