I am thinking about getting a Dish Tailgater satellite system. Not quite sure how to hook it up yet. Anyone have any experience??

Set tailgater where it has a clear view of the southern sky hook up coax cable turn dish box on follow instructions on TV screen always use your home zip code. I don't think you get as strong a signal as with a conventional dish but works very well otherwise

Tailgater

I am not sure of the wiring of the tailgater for the FR3. Has anyone done that? If so, please describe.

Figured it out. FR3 does not have a standard satellite hook up. I will be doing that myself.

What about the "cubes" that pick up different providers? I don't want to hijack the post, but we are thinking about doing the Direct TV pay per month, and the cube seems to work really well and has a no-screw mounting system... Anyone have ideas on this?

The Tailgater will work with Direct TV but not in HD. I have it and use Dish. I decided to not use the coax in the MH and wired it direct to the receiver. I think the picture is better that way. I store the Tailgater in the basement and can have it hooked up in a couple of minutes. I can also use the switch box that came with the MH to distribute the signal to the other TV using the video option. Of coarse you can only watch one channel at a time but not a big deal.
