Sold our FR3

Sold our 30 DS after 2 years and 32,000 miles We thoroughly enjoyed our travels during Covid. We were able to to spend 10/12 weeks in it each of the two years we’ve had it. We did three trips out west, Drove the Pacific Coast Hwy all the way to Port Angeles WA. Spent time in California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Texas, Arizona and every place in between. The FR3 May be a entry level MH. But it worked flawlessly for us after a few suspension upgrades. We met a lot of really nice people, I want to thank you for all the help and assistance we got here! We’ve bought a summer home in Minnesota and just wont have time right now to travel as much. Who knows, maybe Ill be back here in a few years!!

Sorry you won't have time to travel, but a summer home sounds great. Glad you had some great experiences rving. Whatever you need to do to get away and relax.
Hope to see you on the road sometime in the future.

Could I get more info on your rack/towing setup? Did you use the factory hitch for this and how was the tongue weight? Did you weld a second receiver on/below the old one? Any close up pictures of the setup?

I've got the rack and a 400 pound scooter. Seems like that's going to put me right up to the limit on the tongue not counting the Spark being towed. Wondering if I need to get the hitch beefed up...

Thanks!

I would beef it up some. Keep in mind if the tow is hooked up correctly there is very little tongue weight. I was carrying 2 bikes 65lbs ea.) I bought a cheap double hitch rated for 6k lbs and it failed (see pic). I replaced it with a HD dual receiver.
