The sticks hold the shelve up behind the couch from the floor to the shelve. The shelve is cut perfectualy in length and 1/4 short in width the mortise and tenon with the dowels hold it in place. And it is quite secure.
The front pieces are held by a steel strap that I samwich between the wood members and holes in the grove in the dash. Side to side on the cup holders is just the ridges already in the dash.

Just edit the pictures before you post. Open the pics in a photo editor, rotate and re-save the photo. That is how I make sure my photos are right-side up. I also use post preview to see if they are rotated.
