Buy a cutting board that is a little larger than the surface area of the stovetop. Use the rubbery, 99-Cent store drawer liner and sandwich it between the stovetop and the cutting board. The I've driven cross-country and not had the cutting board move at all. And, I have the extra workspace when working in the kitchen. The cutting board pictured is the exact same one we purchased. We purchased it from Amazon Camco 43753 is the part number. The board rides on the stove and never moves we have over 30,000 miles on the coach and it stays put. The other thing is when you are preparing food it works well to cover one end of the sink.
