Well I owned a 2014 Palazzo. A real POS. Due to my experience I’ll never own another Thor product.

I have not read the reviews, I was thinking the Palazzo because of the added bunk space and size of the bunks for the kids. Also, thought the diesel aspect for longerrrr trips would be beneficial.

There are many satisfied Palazzo owners out there along with many dis satisfied owners. The first year or 2 with Schwintek slides were terrors (same with Winnebago so not just a Thor thing) so I hear, but I believe they have worked out the kinks on their slide issues.!

I will add IMHO there is no better drivetrain out there than the Ford V10.

Hi Edmo! We are considering the same. This past weekend we went to the RV & Boat show in Louisville, KY to see some options. And they had plenty; sadly most were over our price point.
PROs of the 30DS
Love the floorplan
Love the length for manouverability
Like the mid entry as opposed to the front entry of most diesels
Cons of the 30DS
Hate the noise
Hate the handling even with our improvements we still get a LOT of sway
Dislike the water issues we've had with this coach
Dislike the furnace/AC problems we've had with this coach
So our next stop is here: https://www.daybrosrvsales.com/motor...y&vt=motorhome
I can't comment on the Thor as I have zero experience with them.

I’d for sure look at the Forest River Legacy if I you. Very similar coach to the Palazzo and it’s build by a great company.

I am looking at a Thor 33.2 Palazzo myself. It will beat my FR3 32DS hands down.
The fit & finish of my old Thor/ Four Winds 30F Hurricane 2007 model was FANTASTIC. I had it until I purchased my FR3 and I have had buyers regret ever since. I have worked on my FR3 for almost 2 yrs now and is finally in ok shape. Everything works, but the quality is just not up to my standards.
The Palazzo is looking good so far.

So I went and test drove the Palazzo and all went well until the wheeling and dealing. So the dealer wanted to give me $50,000 for my 16 30ds w 6000miles and brought the price of the unit down from $171,000 to 168,000. Didn’t think it was a good enough deal. Could be my mistake [emoji848]
