Upholstery Material

We have a 2015 30DS. We need to replace the vinyl on our wrap around dinette. I would like to use a thinker vinyl to make it last longer. Does anyone know what oz vinyl is used on the original dinette seat backs and/or any suggestion of what oz to go with as a replacement? Thanks

look for a good marine grade vinyl if you want to stay with vinyl
You can also use other upholstery material .. does not have to be vinyl

all vinyl will last longer if you clean and protect it
using a good purposely made vinyl cleaner/conditioner

did your vinyl split... or did the stitching break.
most stitching does not like BLEACH.
sand and dirt grit kills vinyl real fast

top layer peeled off ?.... even thick stuff can peel if poorly made

real hot here in Florida so I store my trailer with the air condition on 85 to keep the interior cooler ... helps protect the vinyl too

Thanks for the info. Mine is peeling off. The stitching seems to be fine.

We took our jack knife sofa to a local upholstery shop. The fellow looked at what we had, listened to what we wanted, and made a good suggestion for the material. Looks great, and feels great. Wasn't inexpensive, however.
