Pull the inside surround down and see if the wires are there. Mine were. I have fans in all my vent openings. If there is a light near by you may be able to get 12 volts from there if it is not on a wall switch.

There should be wiring next to the vent opening. Just pull down the vent frame and you should be able to see 2 wires or you may have to run your hand around to find them.
Any RV store or online accessories site will sell fans. Amazon is a good place (better prices some of the time). We installed MaxxAir fans. Love 'em!

Most people replace the whole unit. I myself have not seen just the fan and motor.

You have to replace the whole unit. Not really that hard if you are handy. Just get a tube of self leveling Dicor.

I installed a Heng's Vortex fan from Amazon, no vent removal needed.

My husband installed 2 Vortex fans today, was so grateful not to get on the roof in the heat and no dicor. Did you install Vent covers? I want to get Maxxair vent covers for our new fans unless there is something better.

The "Heng's Vortex II Kit" is made for Inside Install,NO Top Side Action Required! This is a 3 forward speed,2 reverse speed Fan! Vortex I is a 1 speed fan only! Either can be installed in your 14 x 14 Vent if you are Replacing a fan that is a plus because the Wire is there! If you have just a Vent you will remove the "Inside Trim Benzel" and locate the 2 wires! The Vortex II Kit sells for "94.99$" Best Deal out there, and YES install "MaxAir II covers also! Youroo!!

yes, it seems nice and quiet. the bathroom vent got so loud, it was annoying. With it off, things got a little ... stale..........so I am very happy to have the one in BR and over bed also.

Did your bathroom one make that annoying whining vibrating sound. Have been holding off doing ours since I didn't want to take the whole unit out.

Amazon for the replacement motor / fan?

Yes, vibrating. I didn't feel comfortable leaving MH with it on. He got vortex fans at Camping World. cue Boo Hiss. He read on this forum to remove the blades first then you don't have to go on the roof. CW did not have the fan covers. I am going to order those from Amazon.

It may be feeding something else. Just splice all together.
