FR3 32 DS want to put a quick connect on city water outlet. What size fitting do I use with standard white water hose for drinking water
A standard garden hose thread is designated as "3/4 GHT". Select a disconnect with a large center bore so the water flow does not get choked down too much. And buy a number of the same kind when you get them as it's hard to find disconnects from different manufacturers that will work together.
I'm with ESDILL on this. I will add that, IMHO, inexpensive fitting are a source of frustration, constant leaks. Buy quality fittings from Garret Wade or A. M. Leonard, more expensive but well worth it. The A M Leonard are very wide bore for maximum water flow and you can buy packages of the O-rings at the same time for maintenance replacement.
