When do you repack front wheel bearings . The ford book states ever 30,000 miles thats does not sound right . I dont have a ford dealer close by to check with. Have look though forum but only found failures .

Just like to know what ever one else has done with motor homes. There seem to be a few failures with f53 chassis wheel bearings. Ford Manuel says 30,000 miles or 60,000 seem like a lot.

Wouldn't worry about it too much of your within your 3 year, 36k warranty. I used my leveling jacks to get the wheels in the air, rotated them, checked for slop and we were good. Just do the same if your worried.

My guess would be 30K for front axle greased bearing, the rear axle is oil lubricated probably open for inspection at 60K.
