Window awnings

2019 fr3 33ds
Has anyone installed window awnings on the dinette slide window.
Looking at the install instructions there has to be 3" between the window molding and the bottom of the awning. There has to be 2 and 1/2" clearance on the top. The bracket for the slide cover is 4and 1/2" from the window molding. This may be enough space. I would like to know b4 I order.
I called both Shadepro and Carefree Colorado but neither knew if it would work.
I would like to have one 11' to cover both dinette and seating windows but will settle for 2 separate ones. That might be better since the seating window is small/lower.
Anybody got awnings on these windows?

I purchased the 72" Carefree Colorado window awning in November. I plan to install it on the dinette window in the spring.

Yes, an awning will fit there. Having less than the recommended 3" of space above just means that the rolled-up awning will cover a little bit of the black window frame at the top of the window (but not any of the glass).

Check out my post for a little more info.

Here is what I used for the sofa window:
Dometic AE Standard Elite Window Awning, Metal Shield, Blk-Gray, 60", SKU 85662BT.0600

and for the dinette window:
Dometic AE Tall Elite Window Awning, Metal Shield, Blk-Gray, 66", SKU 85690BT.0660

I ordered from Makario's RV, but they have gone out of business.
