Window handle

The portion of the window handle that had the lock came completely off the window. It has a rubber piece that fits inside of it that appears to be what holds it on. However with any pressure to open the window it falls off every time. Is the rubber piece supposed to be glued to the window? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Same thing with me on my 2015 30DS window behind sofa. No it's not suppose to glued. Put the rubber strip back on the window then push the metal handle back on using firm equal pressure up and down the entire length of the metal handle. I used a mallet to make sure it was all the way on.

Mine did the same thing continually on a couple of Windows. I finally lost the rubber piece on one window. Went to the local windshield shop. They gave me the end of one of their used tubes of windshield glue. Just a small bead of that black goop in the metal channel and it has been attached for good now.

Can you post what what window glue was that they gave you? Maybe a person could find some on Amazon or something. My window handles are falling off faster then it takes a person to read this posting. And just when l think I've got it back on it falls off. Thanks eh.

Has anyone upgraded the plastic window locks? I'm anticipating that they will break next.

Any tube of windshield adhesive should work just fine. I don't remember the exact brand I used. Something like this though. Click image for larger version
