Windshield leaking

The windshield on my 2014 FR3 has a massive leak from the top center.

I have tried various caulks to seal the gasket, all with no success!

My current thought is to pull out the gasket and seal where the glass meets the body. As I understand it the gasket has nothing to do with holding the windshield in place.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks

A few FR3's have had water leaks from the clearance lights. Might want to check them out. Also, check around the antenna.

The windshield of our 2014 FR3 leaked as well. We took it back to the dealer to fix. After removing the plastic trim piece from around the glass they discovered that someone at the factory must have tried a repair at the factory, as there was a lot of caulk in several places where the water was coming in.

Guess the bottom line is you may or may not be able to fix it with caulk. Also, this was a known problem (you'll see lots of old posts about this), so if there is evidence of an attempted fix at the factory - even though your FR3 isn't new - maybe you can push Forest River to authorize fixing it at their cost.

Good luck!
