Winter Tips

Well this is the first year we will not be travelling south to warmer weather. We are wintering at home in Ontario Canada. Besides the obvious winterizing routines water system, fridge, etc. I am looking for the rings that need to be done or should be done while the FR3 sleeps through the winter. It will be stores outside covered by a (yet to be purchased) cover.

Do you take batteries out
Do you put rodent traps out
Do you use dry sheets
Do you take cushions indoors
Do you .....

Well you get the idea.... not use to putting our baby to bed need some help from our community on tips and tricks to help us out

Thank you

The batteries should be fine as long as they are at full charge (not by the idiot lights) when tested with a meter. I would plan on running the generator part way thru the winter and charging things again.

Yes. Downey dryer sheets everywhere in the trailer. Some people say Bounce and I'm not sure why. The only times we've had trouble with mice are when we forget to put a dryer sheet in a certain place. Like one year they chewed up some TP in a cabinet that we had missed.

No, all cushions, blankets, bedding, etc stay. We do take the TVs out though. Mostly a personal preference.
