We are happy with our 2022 FR3 34DS. We had 2 main criteria for our decision.....which were price and floor plan. I would have bought a Prevost if I had the money.....but that's not going to happen. Do you have RV experience? If not, I would suggest renting a FR3 and getting a feel for if you will be happy with it. Make sure you rent a newer V8 model as there have been many improvements over the V10 chassis.

We have had 5th wheels in the past, but bought a small class c last spring. we love the motorhome way of traveling . the class c was to small so we sold it and are now thinking about a class a. I found a Fr3 that was affordable just trying to get thoughts on them , thanks for the reply

At the point that we bought our 2019 33ds, I would definitely purchase another FR3. We are very happy with our RV and can't wait to get back on the road next year. We're planning on being out there for at least three months leaving right after Easter.

Be that as it may, if we had more money available, we would probably look at a different Forest River model.

If buying new, probably. Price point is there and is worth some minor headaches (generator problems, mind-blowing fit-and-finish decisions (or lack thereof) from the factory, etc.).

WE have a 2016 that we purchased in June of 2015 new. We now have 55000 miles on it and have driven it from coast to coast 5 time and many other small trips. we have spent about 8000.00 dollars on it in up grades to make it handle better and make it more comfortable for our needs. Forest river was outstanding on all of the warranty problems we had and made all of the repairs needed.
I would check and see what kinds of suspension work that have been done by the other owner and drive it on some uneven roads and give it a good test drive.

To answer your question yes I would purchase another one. We are very happy withe the rig. The v10 dose a good job and has given us no trouble.

Good luck and happy travels.

Yes. We love our FR3.

Check the roof. FR3 switched over to fiberglass in 2017.

I purchased a 2017 32DS used that had 10K miles on it. So far I have spent almost 30K on repairs and upgrades. The two that really set me back was a new TPM roof and the Engine replacement. If you purchase a used one look for one that has the fiberglass roof. As far as a Class A goes, just about all the motorhomes at this price point that have a gas engine are built on the Ford F-53 chassis, so there will need to be some upgrades made that will make driving and ride better. I had a fifth wheel before the Class A and No I would keep my fifth wheel.

2019 DS

I bought in may of 2020. This is a Georgetown 3 and 5 series . It was the #1 selling gas class A last year. Best value for the money.

Would you buy an Fr3 again?

We bought a 2016 FR3 in 2018. We upgraded from a 5th Wheel. It has been a great unit. It like all RV's needs TLC. You cannot just get in a go and expect things to be like new all the time. We looked for almost 18 months before we decided on the FR3 and then mainly because of the floor plan. There are some differences between 2016 and 2017 that I really like, so to answer your questions, YES we would buy an FR3 again, but later model, if one could be found.

2015 30DS with 70k fairly trouble free miles. Only major problems we've had are self inflicted like catching the ladder on a tree branch or opening the door while driving where the steps hit the curb and made them into a spiral staircase. Pulls a JK Jeep with ease with the V10. I would not buy another FR3 as I plan on keeping this one a lot longer. (smile)

Yep

Yes...I did. I went from a 2016 30DS to a 2021 34DS and love every minute of it. ALL BRANDS have their issues, but for the price...I'm extremely happy with FR3

We purchased a 2022 33DS and took delivery in September, so far are very happy with it. Replaced 1 window shade that quit working and Forest River sent out replacement. A couple trim pieces came loose. Had to pull fireplace out and build new support as was very poorly installed and was partially falling out. But overall has been good coach so far. Have put on 3500 miles and camped 27 nights so far.

We purchased our 2022 FR3 34DS one year ago and we are very happy. Being part-timers we have only put 6k miles on it and camped for about 30 nights, but I have not seen a floorpan that would suit us better. Plenty of room even with the slides in and really leaves us not wanting for more in regards to amenities too.
Of course a 40' diesel pusher would be nice, but saving a few hundred thousand extra is even nicer for us!
