2360 or 2460 looking to buy

We like both trailers I worry about the 2460 being too much for my 1/2 ton truck max tow rating is 9,800 lbs but I want to be conservative and error on easier tow ability I also see that they 2460 has significantly more tongue weight

Well...just my opinion. I like the 2360 and if we didn't have our teenager and her friends we would probably get that. We have 2850 and love it! Really like the rear kitchen in 2360 - it helps with your tongue weight and makes it feel more roomy. That large capacity grey tank is nice too.

Make sure you get two batteries and if you can, see if you can get two 6v instead. More capacity when dry camping. Things to try to add to the deal: progressive industries hard wire 30amp management unit, hard start capacitor for a/c unit, and water pressure regulator. Those are the must haves!

Good to hear! Ran into another camper in my area that had one- actually 4 college girls! Talk about a party site.

Start making your list of upgrades and we can share our knowledge. Many future California rallies planned from what I hear- keep an eye out.

I shopped for six months before deciding on the 2360. Love the floor plan. The 2460 was just too long to take into the wilds of the Rocky Mountains (for my comfort level any way). I liked not having a walk through bath as well.
