Bicycle rack

We have an Evo 2850 that we want to add a bicycle rack to. I was planning on welding a receiver hitch to the bumper and purchasing a Swagman bike rack (recommended for RV use) until I saw all the photos/posts about bumpers that snapped under the pressure of the weight. Does anyone have any advice on this? Also, has anyone used any type of bicycle tailgate covers?

Don't weld it just to the bumper.
Weld it, with braces to the frame and bumper.

Just so you know, mosr trailers have a warning label that bumper mods may void chassis warranty.

If your bikes all have quick release front wheels here is a mod to mount fork blocks on the underside of the dinette seats.

You can also buy a quick release kit for solid axle wheels here.

what year is your Evo? We just purchased a 2016 240BH Evo and there is already bracing and a class 2 receiver welded in place.

We just bought a EVO T2360 and wanted to put a rack on the rear bumper also, but it looks like we will end up getting a rack that fits in my truck bed instead. Found several options at Amazon.

I was considering this for my trailer, but ultimately I ended up just spending $80 on a bar with a couple fork blocks that mounts in the bed of my truck. No tools for the installation. Just uses tension like a shower curtain rod. Still plenty of room for firewood or cooler etc.

the link below is of a thread from a few weeks ago about the 4Square Safety Struts, ...... they have 98% positive reviews on Amazon, the only negative was a buyer who said they were too expensive,.... I started the thread because I was interested in them and after the positive posts from the FRF folks who are using them I was sold,..... bought them, installed them and am glad I did,..... read the thread and decide for yourself, they may be just what you're looking for,.....
