Cleaning out black tanks-Evo 2850

Does anyone know how to clean out the black tanks any better than just draining them?

Cleaning out black tanks-Evo 2850

Don't you have a tank flusher hook up on the right rear side? By the outside bathroom door? Mine works great. Just drain, fill for about 5 minutes, dump and repeat.
When clear elbow is clean all done.

A spinning tank wand or install a tank flusher.

First do you have a clear elbow or straight adapter? This is to ensure that you can see the water that is running from the black tank is clear.

Now what we do; is my wife dumps about 5 to 6 buckets of water down the toilet as I flush the tank outside with the black water flush connection on my trailer. This ensures that the tank is clean for the next trip. Also on our clear adapters which are the FLUSH King type. They have a hose connection that allows you to spray up in to the drain pipe this too helps.

I also like to dump any spare ice into the black water tank, drive around a bit before dumping. obviously this doesnt always work out but does help. otherwise its much as the others above have said.

Checkout the gel method, adding water softener makes sense to me. I am trying it the first time this trip, leaving today for a week

It's GEO Method, not Gel method.

The Geo Method. We've used it for years with no other chemicals. It keeps our tanks clean and our sensors working.

I just fill it 1/2 way with water, take a bumpy ride then dump.
