Refrigerator Question

Hi, just got a new 2460 and trying to learn all the little details! Will my fridge keep working when I disconnect the battery and leave it on gas? Or does it need to have the battery on??
Thanks!

The battery needs to stay connected for the gas on the fridge to work. It's a relatively small draw but the control circuits do use power.

Is it better to put it on "auto" or gas only when using only battery power.

If you are using propane only (with the small amount of battery power) it doesn't really matter if auto, or manual gas only. lf you leave it on auto it will switch over to electric if you plug into shore power.

Are you asking this for boondocking or while the camper is at home? I wouldn't run it for more than a couple of days like this without a battery charge.

The fridge will not keep working on gas if you disconnect the battery unless you are plugged into shore power then the converter supplies the 12V to the fridge.

When on shore power and in auto the fridge runs on 110V power
