This is strange, ours has one and have instruction manuals for it. The big one I think is called the sokIII xl and bedroom is sokIII, at least I think that is the name.

Did you call Mitch at the warranty Dept for Forest River?

Just got ours back from the dealer, aeroshots, (after only five weeks!) and checked - no cover on our bedroom slide either. There is a cover on the dining room slide, but not one on the awning, either.

Pretty sure that is a wrap, they didn't put them on as a rule. Think I will just forget about it until topper replacement time rolls around.
5 weeks at the dealer... You would see me on ABC World News. That is why I hate dealers. Ridiculous.

Yep - I was not a happy camper. When I made the original appointment to bring it in, they told me to just wait on it. Had some trouble with the big slide that same day and that turned out to be the hydraulic cylinder leaking internally. I talked to them daily and heard more excuses than you can imagine. They also assured me daily that the unit was plugged in. My one final surprise was having to wait two hours at the dealer Friday afternoon while they scrubbed the freezer to get the stench of rotted chicken out where they did NOT have it plugged in! Absurd!

I did email Mitch. He said they don't put them on the small bedroom slide, but are available from Carefree.

That must be something with the 2015/16 models because every 14' I've seen including mine has one installed.

You have to wonder why they make some of the decisions that they do.....?

My guess is that as with most businesses, economic reasons drive 99% of decisions and results in 99% of consumers frustrations.
O'well, now to move on to the wet basement compartments and water heater running full hot and the boat like handling. In time issues will get worked out I'm certain.
I must say that we completed a 3000+ miles vacation and it was so much more comfortable than our prior campers. My wife has MS and wheel chair dependant. This camper is extending her time to experience LIFE and as she says "see America while it is still ours to see ".

Also, Mitch responded quickly and offered solutions to several other minor issues.
