sirius Radio and existing speakers

I just had the small ceiling speakers converted to a very nice high quality ones...had to cut the ceiling and such...quality of sound is 200% better...speakers are cheap and the installer found them wired wrong...go figure...

Also we are looking to install the Sirius system onto the back of the radio and install the antenna....did anyone do this and where is the antenna mounted?

I use a portable satellite radio and just plug in to aux jack and put ant in window area. Works great and can use in a lot of different vehicles. Later RJD

Looks like a great pair of speakers. I kept the original ceiling speakers but added a pair of infinity patio box speakers. They are on the floor beneath the dash. Most of the power is sent to the front and factory ceiling get just enough to barely be heard.
Might go you're route too.

I want to do the same thing but was nervous about cutting the ceiling, not sure of there was other wiring in the way.

Another option if you don't want to cut is to use these speaker pods. I installed them in the factory overhead locations in my Berkshire (same factory speakers as yours). Universal Panwfl Speaker Pod Adapters 6 5" 6 1 2" Custom Speaker Enclosure | eBay
