Slide Controller replacement

During one of my first trips out, I was camping in an isolated area and couldn't get one of the slides to go out. After tinkering around I noticed the slide controller, for the slide that wasn't moving, was wet from a leak. I attached the other slide controller and the slide worked. When I got home I took my coach into the dealer and they claimed to fix the leak and the slide controller. I have had the slides in and out several times since then without any problem. The other day, however, the same slide once again failed. This time it was trying to work but not moving both ends. The back end was moving a bit but the front end didn't budge. After trying a few things, I decided to swap out the slide controllers and once again this worked. Has anyone else had this experience? I feel like it would be a good idea to keep an extra controller on hand. Any suggestions on where I should buy another controller?

Thanks!

I think I would investigate why the same controller (replaced by dealer) stopped working. is one motor on the slide drawing to many amps and causing the controller to fail? extra controller may save you some headaches but I don't believe its the problem.

I carry a spare controller, and two slide motors, one for bedroom and one for full wall slide. I have had a couple failures, both times the planetary gears in the motors stripped. Personally I hate the Shwintek slide mechanism but that's what we have, Stuck with it.
