Has anyone else found the captains chairs in the Legacy 340 to be very uncomfortable on anything longer than a couple hour drive? Our backs are killing us in both chairs. Desperately want to replace them before our upcoming cross country trip and would love feedback and suggestions. Thank you

It is true that they are not the most comfortable and my wife complains even more because she is short and her chair does not adjust for that.
All the aftermarket seats are basically standard, they just vary the height if the pedestal. You can probably keep your existing pedestal and bolt the new seat right on it. Before I did that, though, I'd suggest looking into some high quality seat cushions, something like what they sell at www.relaxtheback.com.
As a quick and cheep trial. https://www.amazon.com/Zone-Tech-Nat...uck+seat+beads
These will surprise you as to how comfortable they are and how they can transform an uncomfortable seat.
Having said that, my the seats fit my butt and back just fine.
Ours are poor fitting as well.Stopped at Brad and Hall in Elkart In. They have probably 10 different chairs to try . Ordered and going to get after Goshen
