VIN/Chassis-number: where do I find this?

Hi All,

in order to register my motorhome (FR Legacy 340BH) in Belgium I need to be able to show the stamped VIN number on the chassis.

The inside sticker or plates on rear radiator is insufficient...

A: is there such a stamped number on the chassis?

B: where to find it? On European vehicles it is mostly somewhere on the left front section of the chassis.

Thanks for helping out!

F.

I would think it might be on one of the front 'frame rails' that run into the generator compartment up front...

Had indeed already found the 2 riveted tags near the radiator but Belgian law requires stamped number in rail or chassis.

Have looked near front generator but so far have not found any stamped number.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards,
F.

Nothing here either or am I looking in wrong area?

Driver side, on side of main chassis rail, right?

About 158 inches from front of rail.

Found this number on the bottom of the right hand side rail in front of the steps/dooropening.

Unfortunately it’s NOT the VIN-number...

Any ideas?

Based on the dimensions Freightliner gave me, it should on the rail in the compartment just behind the LP tank.
