Howdy from Texas, New 1961 Shasta Airflyte Reissued in 2015 owner :)

My husband and I are so excited about the new 1961 Shasta Airflyte Reissued in 2015. We own a '61 Shasta Compact and a '64 Scotty Gaucho. We can't wait to have our new vintage looking RV home with us. The Airflyte will be 19', with a wet/bath, microwave, TV cable, and Blue Tooth to name a few of the modern upgrades. The fun part for us is that the Reissued Shasta Airflyte will have the same vintage charm that we love! Have you guys seen one?

Kim, welcome! I just visited with Mark from the Shasta plant yesterday about your new group and several other items.

The new "vintage" Shasta is built across the street from my office, and it's been fun watching them roll out to dealerships. There was huge interest in them from dealers at the Expo in September. I've believe that virtually all of them are sold to dealers, and many have already been sold at retail. They're a limited edition, and when they're gone, they're gone.

Your Shasta club sounds like a lot of fun, and of course your members are always welcome as FROG members and at FROG events as well. Please feel free to contact me if there's some way that we be supportive.

Thanks for the very nice welcome Bob and for posting the Video for folks who have not seen it before. You are right! The factory is completely sold out. The preorders are starting to go home with new owners and the dealerships are selling the remainder trailers fast. This has been a fun adventure. I just love the New combined with the Vintage Charm its a perfect RV for my husband and I. I will post some pics soon!

I saw 3 of these on a truck Monday! They were northbound on US 75 in Shernan, Texas.

Wow...how cool is that? Not quite the Shasta (actually I don't know what this one is...Dad couldn't remember either), but this is a camper we had back in 1965. Dad pulled it behind that '59 Cadillac Sedan De Ville. This was on a beach in either Mississippi or Florida.

1961 Shasta Airflyte Reissued in 2015

I have attached a few pictures of the Shasta Airflyte Reissue 16' model. The fabric is a sample of the pretty curtain fabric inside the Reissue. The trailers come in 3 colors: Matador Red, Seafoam Green and a very pretty Butternut Yellow.

Hello all-
Thanks everyone for the overwhelming interest in the re-issue of the Shasta Airflyte. There is a lot of information swirling around concerning this product, and many of us are becoming concerned about the flow of ACCURATE information.

Hello,
I would dearly love to have one of these darling little travel trailers. They remind me of simpler times. Please forgive my trial and errors with this group. I have been calling just about everywhere trying to find out how to buy one and am getting a little confuzzled. Thank you Carol.

so, If anyone can direct me to somewhere to get more pictures and good information I sure would appreciate it. Bless you all.

Oh I have looked over this trailer online for a few days now. The youtube videos are so informative. I found your facebook page Kimberly and have sent in a request to join. This is such a huge step for me, I have never considered buying a travel trailer. But something just said now is the time. The colors, the features and the price what a bargain. I can not wait to actually go see one. Is there a dealership in Southern Washington or the Northern Oregon area that has one?

Welcome carolkara and heler43. There has been a lot of excitement over these trailers lately. So far Kimberly seems to have the most info on them. If you don't get a response here, try sending her a pm.
