Vintage owner that ordered a NEW Shasta Airflyte
Hello from WI. My wife and preordered a red 19 foot Shasta reissue so we can have a nice vintage looking camper to hook up to and go camping in and not work on. I like the idea of having all the modern equipment and a vintage look. We own several vintage campers that are in various stages of restoration and now the pressure is off so I can take my time and restore them at a enjoyable pace. I look forward to reading about others experiences with their new retro campers while I wait for mine to get built and spring to arrive.

The idea of these campers is one of the coolest things any manufacturer could do. My wife has been on me for several years now to buy a vintage camper and redo it. Although she likes the satisfaction of a completed job and the challenges that go into it, I'm really digging the simplicity of an already completed project. An absolute brilliant marketing strategy. Well done Forest River!

X2! The big 3 auto makers are successful doing the same thing. (mustang, charger, camaro and so on.) Maybe will see more models in the years to come from FR.
Remember camping with my grandparents when as young kid and they had a Shasta.
