18 274dbh fresh water drain

I just bought this used. Went to dewinterize it and couldn't find a valve for the fresh tank. There's a tee hanging from the bottom of the tank with a hose going back up to, I assume, the water pump. The tee is open on the other end. Is this just meant to be capped, or is there really a valve somewhere?
(I hate to ask such a simple question, but did go through several pages of search results first.)

Welcome from New Jersey, no questions are dumb here at all, That looks like the tank drain and Yes definitely will need a cap!

Agreed. Looks like someone removed the cap to drain and didn't reinstall it.

It may be in a drawer, inside the water heater door or some other convenient hiding place... or it may be lost forever!

I removed the cap and installed a ball valve on mine. Now I can just reach up and open the valve to drain the tank and don't have to keep up with the cap.

Thanks, all. I am new to travel trailers, and saw all of these comments about low-point drain valves and thought maybe it was a standard thing. I did finally find the drain cap. It seems odd to me that part of the winterizing process is completely removing the cap from the tank, exposing it to dirt and critters.

Thanks for steering me in the right direction.

Maybe I didn't get the memo, but I always put the fresh water tank drain cap back on after I finish winterizing. With all the water drained out there doesn't seem to be any risk of anything freezing and breaking and then I know where to find it in the spring!
