2012 28bhks

I had my 2012 grey wolf 28bhks in for inspection, tires and awning mount repair. Everything was good with the trailer, except the one awning mount back behind the tires. The service tech found the wood were the awning mount behind the tires was all rotted, luckily he was able to move the awning mount up an inch or 2 and fix it. Since that was the only bad part of the trailer, should I start looking for a newer used or new trailer, since part of the wood is rotten? Or should I just keep it,since I own it free and clear? The trailer has no leaks every thing works properly, the slide out still works properly.
