The Furion model that is pre wired is meant to be a wireless unit. When you remove the blank backing plate you will see a plug that connects to the camera. The monitor that is included connects to the camera wireless and uses cigarette lighter for camera. If you don't want to use the Furion camera you can splice into the plug as I did and get your running lights, power and negative.
