2017 Wolf Pup FQ new tires

Hi, I am new to the forum. Been lurking for the past year after buying the Wolf Pup, and this is my first post. After reading about all the problems with the Castle Rock Tires, 205 75 R14. I have decided to go to Goodyear Endurance. My first thought was to go to 215 75 R14. The CR 205's have a max payload of 1870 lbs whereas the GY 215's payload is 2200. Also, I have just received a recall notice from Forest River for a fix to alleviate the tires hitting the top of the wheel well. Have not had a problem so far and I travel a lot of forest service roads. So the 215's are .6 of an inch larger diameter which concerns me given the recall. I can go with the GR 205's and get a 2040 lb payload, which is an increase over the CR's. The 215's are also .75 of an inch wider as well, which might be a problem. Wondering if any Wolf Pup owners have Made a change to the 215's and what they have experienced. Any comments or assistance is greatly appreciated. Rick

Stay with the 205's and get heavier load range, like a "D" or "E" range. Many cases in trailer tires it is only a few more dollars a tire. We do it at work all the time and get better wear when customers overload their trailers

Yes, the GY Endurance tires in 205 75 R14 come in load range D, so that is what I will go with. Thanks for the reply
