Currently have an RV and we're looking to move to the Artic Wolf 265DBH8. One question I have, is how loud is the AC unit by the top bunk. We have 2 kids, that will be using both bunks and I'm concerned that the noise level will prevent whoever is on top, from getting a good nights sleep. Our current RV's intake, is in the middle and that seems pretty loud as it is. On the Arctic Wolf, it's right above the top bunk.

Thanks in advance,
Jay

It's loud, the AC isn't very good either. As you can see we're not very pleased with this Arctic Woof.

Latest thing that happen was the fridge door lock came off & the fridge door opened & smashed the TV screen.

AC is on the loud side and if you live where it’s hot ( like Florida) get a 2nd AC one is just not enough in the heat. I have taken a few trips with mine out of state it not to bad but a 2nd AC I think is a must if you have more then 2 people.

Great! We are going on another weekend trip after Thanksgiving. I used the fireplace on low setting during a cool day. It was very easy to use and took the chill off nicely.

We added a handrail on the outside wall between door and window where the inside stairs are located. The handrail is a 1.5 inch wooden rod. I stained it Ebony and it is attached w/2 metal handrail brackets. We put it 32 inches above the stairs. It is great to have as you go up and down the stairs.

The other inside upgrade is rubber stair treads. They make climbing the stairs easier and you feel more secure. (no slipping) I ordered the treads from Lowe's in dark brown.

Both of the upgrades together cost less than $50 and took less than an hour to complete. : )

Laminated Walls

I'm looking to purchase an Arctic Wolf 265DBH8 Limited. Does anyone know how the laminated exterior walls are manufactured? Are they Press Rolled or Vacuum Sealed?

we have a 2017 Arctic wolf 265bhs, slide outs leaked and ruined slideout roof, they put the wrong seals in axles so all related parts had to be replaced, awning was falling off before we even used camper, after 4 months fabric of awning was replaced, some trim fell off in bedroom, on the roof you can tell where 2/3 of the staples are under the rubber roof, fridge door lock fell off.

Anyone Have Issues with 5th wheel swaying on the 265dhb8

Hi we purchased the 265dbh8 a few months ago and have been very disappointed with the way it tows. We've been on a handful of trips and all most all of those trips we've had issues with the trailer swaying. Has anyone else had this issue? We took it into the shop to have the axels looked at but they say there's nothing wrong with the axles. Very frustrated because it feels very unsafe to tow and no one can give us answers on why it's dong this.

That's strange. The very first thing I noticed about my 315TBH8 was how great it towed.
What are you pulling it with?

There are others on here who know their stuff about setting up the tow vehicle etc. Maybe post in the appropriate section someone might know how to get it rolling right

Are you using the turning point? Line has it but I never unlocked it. I also have a sliding fifth wheel, but never slid it. I have an 8 foot bed that never has to be made 😎
