2021 17JG Slide Cover

Our slide came prefit with mounting tracks for a cover. all the slide covers I see online seem to come.with hardware that screws directly into the side of the slide rather than slides into the tracks. has anyone found one to fit the hardware that came with the camper?

Could you provide a picture your discerption is really confusing. Most toppers attach to a rail just below the drip rail and the hardware is fastened to the face of the slide box.

I believe the "prefit" part of your slide out consists only of the brackets on
the corners of the slide and they may be brand specific.

What is the purpose of a slide cover? I noticed small tracks on ours as well, but don't know their purpose.

It’s to keep debris like twigs and such off your slide. It’s one less thing to clean when you pack up and put your slide back in. Someone else posted it helps keep the water off too. Had he had one on in the first place he would have saved $$ on water damage that came through the slide.
