Talking 2021 wolf pup dinette seat storage

Has anyone done any mods to the storage bins under the dinette seats? Pain in the you know what to remove cushions, and plywood to access storage area from the top. Was playing with the idea of how to access from the front (draw that slides out) but the cheapo paneling is attached via 100 or so staples and Iím thinking Iíll destroy if I try to remove (installer must have just learned how to use the staple gun and got carried away. Just curious if anyone else had attempted and had any tips without destroying the whole seat lol.

Simple thing to do to improve access, drill two holes larger than finger size to make getting the plywood up easier.

From there, we went a step further. The rearmost dinette seat has a safe bolted down under it where I stash anything. I also made the exterior panel held on by velcro so I can remove it and access the safe. Above the wheel well there I placed my automatic transfer switch, especially since that is where shore power comes in from.

You can see the ATS and some of what we did in this video:

I popped the front in on the seat by the door and throw shoes in it. I did add a little frame to the seat center and put the panel there.

Oh it's worth mentioning... if anyone in your rig STANDS on the corner of those dinette seats to get to the overhead storage, I highly endorse reinforcing them. Easy to do with some 2x2

We did what they did and popped out the front. I don't have a picture of it but here's the link.

I agree, what a pain to get into the seat storage under the dinette set cushions. Hereís what I did: I installed long drawer slides with wood slides. I removed the original cabinet door (hopefully you have the cabinet doors! If not, you can order a pair to match on line) then I made full length drawer slides and installed those cabinet doors on the drawer slides and relocated the door handles. It actually wasnít too difficult to do.

That looks great! Yea unfortunately we donít have the cabinet doors, just flimsy 1/8Ē ply or whatever it is. My biggest issue was trying to find something that matched so it didnít look way off. Never thought to look online for the doors, good call!
