2024 Alpha Wolf 26-L air conditioning not right
Hello all,
Brand new rig, upgraded from a 2019 Wolf pup to an alpha wolf. The single air conditioner is a 15k GE, before we even took it out I noticed I didn’t have air flow in the ceiling ducts. Found that they had installed the interior cover 180 degrees backwards in the wrong position, so it was trying to pull the return air from the ductwork and blowing out the filter. Turned the cover around, and fixed that. Have great air flow now. second trip out when it was in the 90’s we noticed it freezing up and dripping inside. Watched a video that said to turn the fan from auto to on constantly. That solved the dripping, but the thing just will not cool the rig. Installed insulation on all the windows. Sealed the separation between the supply and the return under the cover. Still will not keep up. So I measured the temperatures to see what kind of difference I am getting, ambient temperature outside was 89, return air grill was 92, air at the supply vents is 86. I have seen posts that say if you are getting around 15 degrees difference that’s the best you can expect, any thoughts? I hate to think about going through a warranty process, but I think that’s what I am going to be forced to do. Any advice?
