Guy that bought ours is coming this weekend to get it, so I had to go look to see.

Look at the pic in post #15. There is an orange porch light. That is controlled by the 2nd switch.

However..........on our 2014 model, there is a big white light right above the oven vent, or right above the G letter in "Grey Wolf" on the side.......and the 3rd switch on our panel (which doesn't look like the one above) controls that light. The orange is a low-glow light, and the white one actually provides light under the awning.

But the pic of the2016 model doesn't have that white light!!! Looks like they're using the same switch panel but cut out that light for some reason!

I don't recall the exact switch layout, but I do know on ours the under-step LEDS are on the same switch as the under-awning LEDS.

Also, DW remember reading somewhere there is an optional nightlight switch. Maybe that's it?

I know I am late to this thread but that "mattress" gave both my wife and I a sore back on our first every camping trip a few weeks ago. Have not been out since (not because of mattress) but we ordered a short queen from Sams Club for less than $300 and it seems to look very comfortable. We go on a week long trip next week so time will tell how that it. Now to figure out something for the kids bunks...

I only have 4 switches on my panel. 3 on the bottom. Left to right. 1- 3 main middle lights. 2- awning & step led's. 3- inside awning led. Then there is a single switch above that for the scare light. Sorry if this doesn't help you at all.

Sorry, for some reason I was not getting updates in my email about this thread.

Still have not figured the extra switch out yet.

I have a bank of three in one panel and another group of three in another, besides the awning and slide switches.

On the bottom three it is the front storage light above on the side of the TT, the middle is the amber porch light and the innermost is the interior three lights in the main galley.

On the top bank of switches I have the outside LED light and the middle is the interior LED lights and the innermost is the mystery switch. I was hoping for a cute blonde to pop out with a nice cold beer but no luck there.

I do not have the LEDs under the steps maybe that was what it was for if equipped with them.

Today I made a wall to separate the underbed storage and the front pass through. I am making a small door to access the HWT valves.

I talked with a different tech at the dealer and he said it is most likely for the LED lights for the steps, which we don't have. I thought on the Limited version it would have that? I wonder if I can use the switch and add some type of light?

I consider myself an avid DIYer but I am all new to these TTs. I have built walls in my house ran electrical from the main box, installed a woodstove, repaired walls, added outlets - you name it, but not sure how these TT are put together yet enough to do any electrical mods myself. At least I know when I am out of my comfort zone!

I'm going to attempt it, however I don't have the existing switch to try to use, so I will probably just add a 2 bank switch under the countertop by the door. I'm adding a blue strip under the steps, and adding a short white strip under the unit at each stabilizer jack to help setup in the dark. I also have to figure out the best way to add an LED strip to the tube of the awning.

OK. Now I feel like an idiot.

I went out to the TT tonight and was organizing a little and when I went to leave I shut all the lights off and said - let me try this now with nothing else on and low and behold I do have lights under the steps. I think I didn't notice them at first during the PDI because it was daylight. Then, at night, when I was trying I have the awning LEDS on and it drown out the ones from under the step. I looked too and didn't even see them - they are really tucked up there good!. Oh well, mystery solved!

I agree with everyone on the stock matress. It had to go after my first trip out.
I ordered this queen short pillow top matress from Sams club. It was shipped rolled up like a dehydrated sponge almost. You lay it in the bed frame and the cut the rope and it expands in place. They recommend you don't sleep on it for 24 hours so that all the springs expand properly. I personally recommend it and it's well worth the price.

I slept on it last weekend for a night but we will try again this weekend. The kids wanted to stay in in last weekend and I didn't have any sheets etc on the bed and a small pillow. I will give it a fair shake this weekend.

The factory mattresses in most RVs are junk. We bought a 10 inch memory foam topped mattress from Amazon a few years ago for our Wildwood 21RBS, and when we traded in that piece of junk for our Cherokee 254QS, the first thing I did was swap the mattresses. The one in the Cherokee was very thin and springy; it felt like tissue paper over cardboard....

Congrats on your new trailer! I have the same one and camped in it for the very first time this weekend. We loved it. As for the queen mattress, it's not the best but it sure beats the air mattress in my tent. We plan to add a topper soon but it's not at the top of my list. I have 2 kids and they haven't complained about their bunks yet. I actually laid with my son in the bottom bunk until he fell asleep and it wasn't bad. It really depends on what level of comfort you are looking for.

Cool setup! We slept in it again Sat night and it's not too bad. The wife has not tried it out yet. She wants to do a topper. I would like to get one of the 10" memory foam mattresses but I have been spending quite a bit outfitting it since it came home so maybe I will wait until out first rel outing and the wife can give the bed a test rid. I do have a bad back but the support feels fairly good when I cat up I'm really not too sore at all.

On a separate note, has anyone noticed unusual tire wear? Had to replace my tires last year due to rubbing on the coach.

Yes mine rubbed the inside fender well very badly when leaning off center on steep inclines. Since my axle swap no more rubbing.
