26dbh paint peeling

I have a 2016 26dbh, that has only been used about 6-7 times. I have it parked for the winter, checked it today and saw large amounts of paint peeling off of the trailer. Please see pics. It looks like the paint didn’t stick when it was painted and is sluffing off. Has anyone had this issue? It’s pretty ridiculous considering the trailer is only 2 years old!

Did you have it covered? Was it exposed to any snow or ice over the winter in your area?

It almost looks like something was poured on it? Where has it been stored, did they do any work in the area its stored?

Looks like poor adhesion, like it wasn't treated before painting. I would contact Forest River directly and send them the pictures. Under 'warranty' fine print or not, in my experience they stand behind their products and if it is a screw up they will make it right.

No, not covered. It is exposed to the elements, but that shouldn’t matter. The trailer wasn’t exposed to anything abnormal.

Yes, it’s almost like the paint didnot adhere to the metal. It’s bad, I’m going to call tomorrow.. hopefully they will fix the problem

Following. I just bought a 2018 26DBH. If this happens, I'd love to know how forest river handles it.
