274 rk keyless lock

I just bought a used 2015 Cherokee limited 274rk. There is a keyless keypad to use instead of a key. There were no manuals provided so I'm not sure how to use it or how to clear out the code that was in it.

Any help would be appreciated

Pretty sure you need to know the old code to switch to the new one, sorry not much of a help but all my manuals are in the camper...10 miles away.

open your door next to the lever that locks your deadbolt there is a panel two Philips head screws need to be removed this is the access to batteries that run the keyless entry on the back of this door are the instructions on how to reset the code.

If this does not work then post a picture of your lock to help us to know what type of lock it is. I can fish out my instructions for mine if it is the same as mine and you do not have the instructions inside the cover as described above.

My 2015 used Bauer Keyless Entry. Here is the online manual for programming / using it:

This is the kind of lock I have on my trailer too.

3715 is the factory set code. You need to swipe your hand across the keypad to "wake" it up. Then put that code in. If it has been changed I can't help. There are instructions online on how to change the code. Try a search
