That is actually not a bad idea, have both the 25' and 50' cords available, depending on your need. That's the problem with going to new places, you are not familiar with what is needed, so you need to account for everything.

As far as the other hoses go.....I have a 50 foot fresh water hose and a 50 foot black water flush hose. Is that good enough or should I also have extra of these hoses to? Now that I think of it, maybe I should just get a 50 foot power cord too and not worry about extension cords.

Among other things, I carry my generator in the bed of my truck. An extension cord is required to reach from the generator to my campers power inlet if I decide I want power for whatever reason when I stop for a break.
