30amp cord that comes with trailer

What length is the 30 amp power cord that comes with the 26dbh?

The most common lengths of those cables are 25' or 30'. Maybe someone with that particular model will chime in with the exact length, but even if they do the length could vary a few feet during the model year.

You already possess the trailer, don’t you? Can’t you just measure it?

RV manufacturers don't manufacture the shore cords. Suppliers like Marinco or Furrion do.

No. I can't! It's in storage and I am home. Why did you research my posts and then quote me? What was the point of that?

I am asking because whatever the length of my cable is I had trouble during my first outing. The electrical panel was not close to my rig and I had to maneuver around when backing in so that I could get close enough to use the one that came with the rig. I was about to buy a longer one at the camp store but they wanted $90 for a 25 foot cable. This leads me to believe that mine is shorter than that.

It would be way cheaper to just buy a 30 anp 25'ish extension to use when needed

Same here. And with the fresh water hose and sewer hoses as well.

This is the part that I am confused about. When you say extension cord....do you mean a second cord of a longer length or an additional cord that can be added to the one that I have? I was looking around online and realized that you cannot connect two separate 30 amp cords together because the ends are different. You would need an adapter in order to connect them.

Confused by this comment (in red above). You just need an extension cord that it's female end plugs into your RV's shore power cord male end...then the extension cord goes to the shore power outlet. Something like this

I found this online....

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...5S4UQCW4&psc=1

Would I use this to connect 2 separate cords or just buy a longer one.

Watch this video by Mark Polk to make sure you realize we are talking about RV extension cords. You seem to be missing out on the concept. You will use your RV's shore power cord.....then plug it into the extension cord to make the final distance to the shore power pedestal. The extension cord will be what you plug into the shore power pedestal.

I see. So there are actual extension cords that match the end of the power cord. I did not see that in the ones I looked at. I was thinking that I needed an adapter like the one I posted in order to connect the two different heads. I will do a search for what was shown in the video. Thanks

As far as the other hoses go.....I have a 50 foot fresh water hose and a 50 foot black water flush hose. Is that good enough or should I also have extra of these hoses to? Now that I think of it, maybe I should just get a 50 foot power cord too and not worry about extension cords.

IMO, you are better off having separate pieces of everything. Instead of getting a 50' power cord, get 2 25' cords. That way you have options for different parks. Sometimes you may only need the 25. Sometimes you may need both. But it's easier to drag a couple smaller cords around than wrestle with one that's twice as long and heavy.

Same sort of thinking with the sewer hoses.

Just my 2 cents.

With a hard wired power cord you may not have enough room in the cord storage compartment for 50 feet of power cord.

Another 10 or 25 feet EXTENSION cord is what you need. The cord will be labeled as such.

Don't use it if not needed, but it is a must have sometimes, and MUCH cheaper then having another full 50 foot cord...
