Alpha Wolf TV Mount

Anyone know if the plastic TV mount that comes with the 2021 and 2022 Alpha Wolf 26DBH-L is the standard Vesa Mount pattern (200mm x 200mm square). Ordered a new 2022 and should have it next week. Thanks.

No it's 100x100 VESA. I bought an adapter on Amazon for $13.

Also know that the system puts the TV very close to the wall.
I needed right angle connectors for coax and HDMI before my TV would slide in.

On my TV the inputs cables go in sideways instead of straight into the back of TV so that wasn't an issue. But I ended up buying a new mount anyway. We have the 26RL-L model. There are 4 storage "cubbies" in the entertainment center behind where the TV sits. Because the closets on each side of the bed are so small we decided to use that space for clothing storage.

We purchased 4 soft side storage cubes and fold tee shirts, shorts, pants, etc. and it works great for us. But it only took 2 trips to get tired if taking the TV down every time we needed to get something from behind there.

I bought an real nice swing arm mount on Amazon for $65. It has an extra mounting plate with it. I put that where the second one on the exterior was originally. Plus this mount is made for RV's and boats. It has an interlocking catch that holds/locks the arm in place while traveling. It's been a great upgrade!

Prefect, this is exactly what I was looking for. I just ordered the 13 dollar amazon 100x100mm to 200x200mm plate. Now, hoping the RV is ready for me to pickup this weekend.

For sure. Sounds like you have some lessons learned. Got my list but I am sure that I will forget a few things.

Will you please post the link to the mount you purchased? We are picking up our 26RL-L in a couple of weeks and I want to be ready!
Thanks!

Sure, here you go. Let me know if link doesn't work.

If you are handy and mechanically inclined let me know. I have already done a couple of mods on mine that worked out well.

Worked perfectly, thanks. Now to figure out how to get TV sound to play through the Driven system speakers. Anyone figure that out?

I did it, it's not too bad. Are you a fairly handy person

If so, you can do it with an audio cord that has RCA jacks at one end and a headphone jack on the other end. The cable needs to be about 4-6 feet long. Like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/MillSO-RCA-Ca...%2C166&sr=8-11

I'm assuming your tv has an audio out connection with a headphone type connector. You'll need to remove the Driven radio unit in order to get at the connection ports on back of the unit.

To remove the Driven unit you snap off the outer trim ring. Pry it off by sliding a thin flat blade screwdriver under it and gently prying in a few spots. It's easy. Then there are 4 small mounting screws to remove. You then slide the unit straight out. You won't need to remove/unhook anything.

Then go around the back and find the jacks labeled AV1 IN. Plug the RCA jacks into those. Of course the red RCA jack goes in the Right or red hole and the white one goes in Left or white hole. They are both color coded.

Before you put the Driven unit back in first fish the end of your new cable with the headphone jack end between the bottom of the shelf above it and the side frame of the entertainment center. Once you do that just put the Driven unit back in replace the mounting screws and the trim ring. It just snaps back on.

Then just plug the headphone end of your cable into the Audio Out headphone port on your TV.

IMPORTANT - You have to toggle through the MODE button on the Driven unit until you get to AV1. Otherwise you won't get the sound. It's a nice little mod that costs less than $20.

See attached photos. Hope this helps!

Anyone else have their speakers that come with the Driven entertainment system buzz and rattle with any kind of volume?
