Arctic Wolf Water Heater

We successfully did our first RV trip, but we couldn't figure out how to turn on the water heater. We have a 287BH, there is a switch in the inside panel but it said fault when I turned it on. Any ideas?

Also when dry camping, I know you can fill up the fresh water tank to use, but will it work without the water pump? We are only going for 1 night.

Will we be able to flush the toilet if dry camping?

And how do we switch the fridge to propane?
Thanks for any ideas on the above questions.

The fault is normal. That is the switch to use propane to heat the water. The fault will clear after the burner is lit. The switch to turn on the electric side of the water heater is most likely in the bottom corner when you open the door on the outside of the camper and expose the water heater. You may have to bend down to see it. It is small. You will want to use the propane to heat the water if dry camping because the electric side is 120V. The propane will work with just the battery to light the burner.

You will need to use the pump if you want water from the fresh water tank. It should be self priming. That will work on battery power if dry camping.

If your fridge is capable of propane or electric, there should be a slider switch on the front that says something like "auto, gas, electric'". Some of the rvs now come with 12V only fridges or residentials that require 120V.

See if this thread may help. If you have a suburban brand tank type heater, it will explain the switches, faults, etc.

If you read all six posts there, you will be an expert. Lol
