Brand new trailer, what is this?
Hello all, I am a newbie that just bought his first trailer a 2021 Cherokee 274WK. It has been pretty fun trying to figure all this new stuff out. I have this box in the bedroom that no one at the dealership can seem to help me with, so I come to you. What is this thing? It has 2 usb plugs on it, but don't know what else this is for? Thanks in advance.

The OP is trying to link to a flickr account where the pic resides. Many times this will not work. I downloaded the pic and uploaded it here:

There was a thread a few days ago that had that same box posted, but I can't find it now and I don't remember what it was for.
Seems like it was a remote charger or something like that, but I'm not sure.

There seem to be ports on the side. What are they? From the angle, they look like they could be USB or HDMI.
Can we get a picture of the side?

I'll bet it is a charger for something. Something is designed to slide into it from the left and will contact the two charge connection buttons, Perhaps the 2 connections on the top are for device charging like cell phones.

My 2021 Cherokee 22MKSE came with a similar docking station for a Furrion LIT portable speaker. However, it's slightly different than yours. Is it branded anywhere? Is yours brand new or used? If used, it could be any aftermarket dock for nearly anything.

I think it was for some type of aftermarket flash light.

As of my last email with FR (I'm trying to order a Wolf Pup 16BHSBL...kind of a pain) They have made all kinds of rolling changes for the 2021 build due to supply chain issues and major problems with Furrion.
That used to be a special charger for the Furrion LIT wireless bluetooth speaker. All Furrion audio is currently being replaced with Driven/DB Research equipment. So, my best guess is that it is a charging mount for a Driven Bluetooth speaker of yet-to-be-determined size, type, and style.

Mine has a 12 volt outlet and 2 USB charging ports. It comes in handy when on the road and all you have is battery power.

It is a charging station for a Furrion Blutooth speaker and it does have two usb charging ports. Mine is is exactly like it. Was thinking about buying a speaker until I saw the price,Pass. I just use my iPhone and connect to radio via bluetooth and play all the music I want to hear, sound goes thru all the TT speakers.

For what it’s worth, we have a Bose Bluetooth speaker that sounds much better than the speakers that came with ours. The one mounted outside sounds like a drive thru speaker.

Tablet Doc
Our trailer came with a small tablet loaded with specs and info. It plugged into the micro USB to charge, and slid into the rails to store.

I am gad you asked this question. I thought it was for the wifi router you can get for the trailer.

Many trailer manufacturers should do this

We have a Jensen stereo with marginal speakers and I agree with you. I would have preferred to pay for a Bose soundlink mini (sadly discontinued) than have the factory stereo, despite what the old Jensen commercials used to say.

I agree on the price, it seems like a lot. But I received one as a present and I was skeptical about it but I have to say, it's a robust well-built little speaker with long battery life and a very usable flashlight as well as decent sound at low volumes. I'm a convert. I'd buy it with my own money if I knew then what I know now, for what it's worth to others. There are definitely cheaper alternatives like what you are doing, so to each their own.
