Cable TV input

I have a 2019 16BHS and have never used the cable connection until now. Am I the only person that finds it odd that the input for cable tv is on the opposite side of the utilities connections? I get that you can use the connection between the speakers for the input feed but how much more would it have cost to actually put a connection on the side of the camper that all the rest of the connections are on. Seems pretty logical to me to locate it near the power connection. I think Forest River missed the target on this minor detail.

Here's a post from an identical year and unit as yours.

There is no park cable input. There is only an output by the outside TV mount. I strung together a few coax and using a few adapters ran an old vcr into the outside coax output and disconnected the two interior cables going from the splinter by the amplifier panel and connected those one at a time checking for signal. I marked the one connecting to the output and have a coax wall panel on rider for that so it will become an input. I removed the splitter and shorty cable and connected the other, the radio, directly to the back of the amplifier panel. So my external output will now be an input, just have to run a cable under the TT to the park cable connection

Kind of my point

The output will work as wired for an input the issues is the half baked idea of running a cable under the trailer. Forest River saved about $6 by not adding an input on the side where it should be. Was not looking for a how to rig it up to make it work more venting to FR about cutting corners.

Just posted that you are not the only one that finds it odd. Camp on.
