Recently bought a Grey Wolf 23mk which had the Driven back up camera. During the prep the tech. could not get the Driven system to work. He called Driven and they could not understand the problem. I told the Tech. that I did not want that camera system. Install a Furrion or No Deal. They gave me a Furrion with the 7in. monitor even swap.

Thanks, this is helpful. We'll see what comes on my Wolf Pup 16BHSBL...if it ever comes!

The original paperwork I looked at said camera prep, but that was the 2020 pamphlet. The 2021 pamphlet does say camera included.

I put it in another post, but basically moving all Solar to Warree (India), stero electronics to Driven/DB, refer to Cannon, micro to Contoure.

Also, BrandMotion sells an Auto-Connect trailer system with factory display integration. Model 9002-7894 connects to GM 8" displays. $500 though, ouch.

That was interesting about fr and furrion.

I took delivery on Christmas Eve of a 2021 Wolf Pup 14CC with the Driven backup camera. It connected and worked at the dealership but I haven't been able to get it to connect since. Frustrating!!

You do have your park lights on right?

I have heard you can't just have your lights on "auto". They have to be turned on to full or parking lights manually.

Not exactly true. It doesn’t matter which position your switch is in. What matters is that the marker lights are on. If it’s dark, auto is fine. In the daylight, you have to manually turn them on.

So, I think this Driven installed system is going to be what is included with the "Cherokee Backup Camera System". I'm on RV Trader and seeing lots of these on newer 2021 models. Interesting upgrade. I suspect this is another aspect of FR not wanting to do any business with Furrion anymore.Click image for larger version

So how do you monitor the driven system. I don't see an antenna sticking up so is it all wirerd? Do you use your cherokee app on phone or tablet?

There’s an antenna. I pick up my 16BHS this weekend. I plan to snap some photos of all the new stuff and post it here. Mainly the new camera, fridge, and solar panel.

My 2021 Cherokee 274WK came with the Driven Camera and the company name is DB Research. The camera on my Cherokee is very choppy and freezes the image for several minutes before updating and freezing again. I have an email in to them asking for advice to make the camera work without freezing. The same company is providing the installed AM/FM radio system in the Cherokee.

Did you try pairing the monitor and camera again? I know on the Furrion, it’s very specific how you pair them up. Otherwise the image blanks out and is choppy.

I just picked up my 2021 Alpha Wolf 26bh-l and it had the Driven backup camera. TV is GMC Sierra with LED running lights. During the day, I have to turn my headlights on in order to get the camera to sync. Like someone else said, your camper marker lights have to be on in order for the camera to connect.

Happy Camping

Well at least you got one. I have 2021 274BRB I did not get one. Anyway I read that the antenna should be straight up and down. They explained it as a figure 8 and if it's on an angle that 8 goes into the air not to your Tow Vehicle. I can't test that because I don't have one they forget it completely, not even prepped.

The camera is part of the "Limited Package". If your trailer had the limited package, you should have one.

I’m not so sure about that as our 25RRT Black Label has the limited package but didn’t come prewired for a camera. When we took delivery last November, I inquired about it and was told that Forest River was going through the transition from Furrion to Driven and just didn’t prewire it. Lucky for us that I had already bought a Furrion unit and had them install it.
