Looks a lot like the RV Port we had built last Fall,,, except ours is closed on 3 sides,,, with a clear plastic gable on the rear !!!

As many have said if you are going to cover your RV,,,
Buy a proper cover,,, tarps do not work well !!!

I believe the Sun does more damage than Snow !!!

Yes, I cover... In Ohio we get all kinds of weather and the cover has kept our roof both clean and free of debris. As some have mentioned, make sure you get a good quality cover, probably $200 - $300, and plan on replacing it every 5 - 7 years.

I also live in Michigan and have covered my Coachmen with a breathable Adco cover. The trailers nice and clean when you remove the cover in spring. I've had the cover for about 5 years and have had to repair a few small tears with the patch material that I received with the cover. I think it's well worth the money to protect the rv

When I was still living in Colorado (up until earlier this year) several of my neighbors insisted on covering their RV's .

We had no HOA's in our subdivision so most everyone in there had an RV parked next to their garage.

Most of those covers didn't make it through the winter.

Not to mention that some of those covers damaged the RV that was under it!

Now that I live in Yuma, Arizona I've witnessed numerous RV and car covers get fried by the sun in a couple of months time.

Same with slide toppers!

Again...these are RV's...meant to be outside!

There are so many things marketed to us to 'protect our investment' that we all (well, most of us anywayz) could go broke trying to 'protect our investment'.

Keeping up on the outside maintenance of your RV will do more than any fabric cover you can buy.

That's been my experience too.

Covers would not last long here. Most around here use them once and then get rid of them. So 5 campers never covered. If I were to use a cover it would be a carport type.

Mine is covered right now and we still have another trip planned this season. Can cover in less than 30 mins and take it off even quicker.

I never heard an RV owner regret covering their trailer. This will be winter #3 and besides some color fade, the cover is holding up well.

I used to cover my TT with a ADCO cover until I realized the mice used it to climb up into the vents for the fridge.

Wish I had the room - not an option for me and my residential sized lot.

Yes, I cover mine every winter with a medium duty tarp from Menards. I spoke with Forest River, and while they weren't thrilled that I was covering my TT, they did tell me to cover it in such a way that it allows air to flow around the unit. after 3 winters of doing this I have had zero issues. (for reference, my father has been covering his 1998 Prowler since new without issue as well)

I used to cover our 2005 Timberlodge with a medium duty tarp from Menards and it wore through the corner sealant on the roof. I had to reapply dicor on the spots, some quite large, every year we owned it. Even though the tarp looked tight when we put it on in October, the wind would stretch and loosen it. Had to redo the straps every month or after high winds.

I heard that plastic tarps cause scratches and scuff marks. Also been told they are not breathable and can cause moisture problems. The ADCO cover I have been using has a soft inner lining and is breathable. Things to consider.

That's exactly why I stated that the MFG said to cover it in a way that allows air flow or breathing, because tarps don't breathe.

I bought a 30' x 40' white tarp from HF or Northern Tool forget which less than $90 and going on 3rd year for my 5th wheel. I would not leave it uncovered in winter. I buy 2 rolls of clothesline rope and go over the top with it so it stays on with out stress.
