I have a new 2018 grey wolf 27dbs. I was wondering can I turn the fridge on propane while still being hooked up to electric, other then flipping the breaker?
Sure. If you have a two way refer if you have gas turned on and air purged the refer will automatically switch to the most economical fuel source as needed.

That's all there is to it. You must also have a 12-volt battery hooked up for lighting the gas. You turn the 120-volt breaker off because the fridge looks for electric first.
What model fridge do you have? Mine had buttons at the top that let me turn it on/off and pick the power source:
- on/off
- gas/auto
It looked like this:
The button on the right, should be "up" and the fridge will be powered on gas + 12v even if the camper/fridge is on shore power w/ 120v available.
