Driven radio system - Clock question

I saw other Driven radio system threads, but didn't want to highjack them. My issue with the Driven radio system is the clock. You can set the clock to the current time, but it never changes. I set it yesterday to 5:09 PM, and right now, at 7:50 AM the next day, it still shows 5:09 PM.
Is there a trick to make it work?

I’ve seen all kinds of ways to set clocks, in vehicles and at home.

How about.....

Set the time the way you have so far, then when it’s set, finish the action by pushing the “clock” button to end the operation. Some units I’ve seen done this way, will confirm the clock is actually “ticking” by flashing the colon dots on the screen. If they’re not flashing, it’s not working.

Just a thought.

Sorry, the radios do not have a "clock" button. You hold the "mode" button until the clock comes up, then hit the "mode" button again to select the hour. Use the volume up and down to set the hour, hit the "mode" button again to select the minutes, and do the same thing. That sets the time, but it does nothing after that.

I figured that every time that I disconnect the battery switch the radio has to restart the next time I use the trailer. If this is the case then I am going to have to set the time during each of my outings. Can someone confirm this? Thanks.

And then you hit the "mode" button one more time to tell it that you're done.

Nope, when I hit the mode button again after the minutes, it just went back to the hour setting. I held the mode button down to end the setting, but it did not change the time at all after that.
