Emergency window exit on wolf pup

Anybody know if it's designed to open in normal circumstances? It doesn't seem to want to.

How in the world is it faster to escape out that window when the door is two feet in other direction? It's just a big window to me.

That is your way out if the camper rolls over onto the door side and if your camper does not have a bunk door?

Yes I have bunk door, but I guess it's nice to have a big window
