Exterior light - how to turn off Wolf Pup 16FQ

Hi, on my 2020 Wolf Pup 16FQ, I have a clear oval light on the rear side of my camper (i.e., not the entrance side). It doesn't seem to have a switch on it, nor do I find a switch inside. Can anyone tell me how to shut it off? Thanks!

On my 14CC, I have the same light. It is controlled by the switch on the control panel labeled Conv Lights. It also controls the lights in the inside and outside speakers, makes them turn blue. Still can't figure why Forest River put that light there, kind of silly to me.

I think it's silly it's on a common switch, it should've had its own on it.
On my 2019 16BHS, the speaker lights are switched with the awning lights, separate from the porch light. I wouldn't mind the extra side light for working on hookups at night or for a bear light Its a 2020 extra, though.

On my 2020 Wolf Pup, its inside next to the switch that controls the LEDs on the awning and the speaker back lights. I have yet to actually turn then on intentionally. If I happen to be around the back in the dark, I generally have a flashlight. As Boomerweps mentions, if I had to adjust my hookups or maybe use the outside shower after sundown, it might be useful.

If you download the onecontrol app you can control this light with your phone, too. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lci-on...l/id1039394586

I also struggled with turning off this light. I thought I saw what looked like a little square switch on the bottom of the oval, and just thought it was jammed or something. I had to unplug my battery while I stowed the trailer! Eventually found out about the control panel switch - ha ha.

In 2021 they call it a scare light. And as mentioned you can use the app or control panel switch. This light is for dealing with your grey and black tanks at night, I.E. Night Dump. I guess you can shower under it too, if your shower hose reaches that far.

Ah, great info. I'm following your mods now too--love it! I am going to get the exterior vent hole screens also. I just ordered the breakaway cable myself. Thanks!

Brakeaway cable. Didn't that come with the TT?

The breakaway cable should already be attached to the breakaway switch box.
Or are you calling something else the breakaway cable?

Oh, I meant to say the orange, coiled Fastway cable that retracts so it's not dragging on the ground, and doesn't get it caught up in the hardware. I always meant to get one of these for my last camper.

That's not advisable. See here all about the proper use of the brakeaway cable:

Be safe.

Ah, thanks--so the setup on my last camper was improper-- they had looped the breakaway cable through the chains. Re. The Fastway cable, I see what you're saying-- if it expands and contracts (i.e recoils) there won't be enough tension. Ok, well I guess I'll find some other use for it! Thanks!

Nope, but my camping friends do. I could pair up the cable with that for the dogs. Good use for it.
