Fastway e2 hitch setup on wolf pup

Anyone have any experience with the fastway e2 hitch? Trying to setup to tow a wolf pup with a Chevy Silverado 1500. Wondering if anyone out there has a similar setup. If so how many washers are you using in the hitch? And what holes do you have the L brackets mounted on? Currently Iíve got them mounted on the top two. Any input would be great, thanks everyone

Do you have a copy of the Fastway E2 setup manual? If not, I can post a copy.

I have a Fastway E2, but towing a Vibe, not a Wolf Pup. Tomorrow, I'll take a few photos of my setup, of the washers, and the L-Bracket mount and post them.

Let me know if you need the installation/parts/maintenance manual?

Here are a few photos. I have 4 washers in the head to give it pitch. I believe this is a recommended 'starting' point. Every setup will be different depending on the TV and Trailer. Mine was setup by me dealer, but after I got my Vibe home I went through the instructions to verify the measurements. The dealer did a good job.

Thanks for the pics Russ! I donít have the manual, wolf pup was a private sale and the seller threw in the hitch with the purchase. Will have to take some time to take measurements but just wanted to get a general idea of where to start. She was towing with a small SUV so figured the current setup was way off. If you donít mind me asking what vehicle are you towing the vibe with? Thanks again for taking the time to post the pics!

Fastway E2 Manual (PDF) is attached. This should help with the setup. What model Wolf Pup do you own?

Definitely go by manual, I have same hitch and will also provide photos tomorrow. Our setups are probably similar.

This basically the same setup we use. We also have the Fastway E2, and although I don't have any pictures to share, we started with a 2018 FR Salem Cruise Lite 171RBXL and had that for 3 years until we went with a FR Salem Cruise Lite 263 BHXL back in October 2020. Our dealer was kind enough to adjust the WDH for us at no charge to take into consideration for the extra tongue weight. The WDH is rated up to 800lbs. I own basically the same truck as you, but a 2014 model and short bed with the factory installed max tow pkg, 3.73 gearing, running 20 inch tires. Does well for us and always use tow haul gearing for tranny. I also use the truck as a daily driver.

I believe I have 7 washers in there. This is my setup for an F150 4x4. Notice my hitch is pointing down, unlike Russ'. Maybe my hitch receiver is higher than his.
Also, you can see my frame brackets are one hole higher than Russ'. I remember having to move the frame brackets at the dealership, because it wasn't right initially. Finally, I have the trunnion bar type of E2, which is why it looks different.

Great thanks for the pics! Yea Iíve got mine pointing down as well to start. Looking online seems like everyone is in that 4-7 washer range.

I suspect the head angle difference is due to the tunnion vs round bar designs. Outdoorliving really didn't indicate which E2 design he has.
